With each goal hit and mastery developed, your child will develop confidence that can be taken with them wherever they go. The “one size fits all” approach to strong reading and writing skills acquisition does NOT fit all.
Has your learner experienced any of the following:
• COVID related loss of learning, or online learning burnout?
• They experience a major loss of learning whenever there is a break from school?
• Struggling with aspects of reading and writing but not enough to receive remedial help during the school day?
• Freezing or becoming highly distracted whenever a reading or writing task must be completed?
• Crying or becoming highly distraught at the thought of having to read or write in school?
• Apathetic or uninterested in developing their reading and writing skills past the
bare minimum?
• Becoming upset when they don’t achieve at the level of their peers or siblings?
• They are capable of more, but they just can’t seem to get the individual help they need from a teacher on a regular basis?
Perhaps you have a middle school or high school learner. The rigors of writing research papers, college entrance essays and the various aspects of comprehending higher level texts can be overwhelming. Extra one on one attention can make all the difference.
