Schedule & Fees

This is a different type of one on one instruction than you’re used to. When I work with your learner, they become a priority and their academic hurdles become my own.

I only accept a small number of clients at a time so that I can focus solely on helping my learners grow. This means I will investigate as much as I can to find out what may or may not be holding them back, or in the case of enrichment services, how far they can appropriately go.

With this in mind, the fee includes not just the time spent in our 1 hour sessions, but the diagnostics given and the preparation and implementation of an individualized instructional plan tailored specifically to the needs of your learner. Monthly or Bi-Monthly progress reports are provided and I am available for one on one chats about your child anytime.

The after school schedule begins August 25, 2025 and continues through June 2026. Appointment times vary and take place Monday-Friday after school. Contact me directly for my most current availability.

Fees: Each 1 hour individually tailored session is $115 or $132 for in-home instruction.

Please keep in mind just a few things that this rate encompasses:

• One-on-one tailored instruction for your child from a professional Literacy
  Specialist with 12+ years of experience teaching and 8 years of higher education
  in writing and literacy instruction.
• During the school year-Monthly progress reports for twice weekly students and
  bi-monthly progress reports for once weekly students (I am always available to
  chat about your child at any time via email or phone.)
• I keep my caseload small intentionally. Keeping my student roster small allows
  me to make sure your child is a main priority at all times and frees me up to dig
  into their struggles and areas of strength -when planning our sessions together.
• Ongoing informal/formal assessment to target weak areas and adjust our
  learning plan as needed. I reevaluate your child’s learning speed and progress
  on a weekly basis. I assess the areas they need to work on while maintaining a
  high level of interest by picking out books they love and activities that
  complement their individual learning style.
• I am always available to chat about your child at any time via email or phone.
• Existing clients get first priority in scheduling during the school year and summer
  sessions.
• The consistent knowledge that your child is working with someone who is
  deeply committed to them. My job is to help them grow and coax out of them
  their most authentic self, through reading and writing activities that are curated
  to their own interests, hearts and minds. I am as excited about their learning as
  they are. When they work with me they have a true partner on their journey.
